Bit pedestrian I thought, could have done with the Terence Fisher touch...

I thought it was alright, but yeah, Fisher did the best of them. Frankenstein Must Be Destroyed may be the best Hammer horror film ever. It's certainly the best of the many I've seen. The guy was brilliant.

Serenity

I can't get enough of this movie, I must watch it once or twice a month. :)

Just watched Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back while eating Christmas Day dinner. Still the best of the Star Wars franchise.

Night At The Museum 3

Not as funny as the previous two, but still funny nonetheless. Robin Williams, in one of his final performances, steals scene after scene as President Roosevelt and Dan Stevens {AKA: Matthew from Downton Abbey} steals lots of scenes too as Sir Lancelot.

Let The Right One In.

Swedish horror film that had inspired the American movie, Let Me In, in which a bullied young boy is befriended by a vampire who is eternally a twelve years old. The only criticism I have for this movie is that I don't recall any explanation for the vampire's older care taker, as the American version had provided.

Over the past 3 days I have been seeing movies because my computer was at the repair store
On Wednesday I saw

The Lego Movie

Harry Potter and The Goblet of Fire

Percy Jackson and the Sea of Monsters

On Thrusday I saw

The Hobbit Battle of the Five Armies
It was amazing, much better than the first and second movies. It's taken place of Mockingjay Part 1 as my favorite movie of 2014.
The beginning was a bit over-climatic with Smaug being killed right away. I think it should have been 2 less fluff filled movies with the split happening when the dwarves enter Laketown.

Dragonslayer
I kept hearing about this one from the 80's and it was good

A Christmas Story
It's a classic for me especially consider I saw a real Red Ryder BB Gun at the flea market recently

Elf

The Chronicles of Narnia The Voyage of the Dawn Treader.
Eustace Scrubb was really cute as a dragon. Narnia is also a good series. I wish Disney really made an actual ride about Narnia when they were making the movies (their treatment of it at Hollywood Studios was extreamly pathetic).

In 1977, they attempted a revivial of The Addams Family with this holiday special, but it wasn't picked up for a series. No great loss, since it's really nothing too remarkable, even with the original cast. The gags are lame, and so are the cultural references. (Hey kids, how 'bout that Star Wars?) It's not completely godawful, but I only laughed once: when Morticia mentions with horror that Wednesday wants a Kawasaki, Gomez's brother replies that it's fine because "our family is very partial to mixed marriages!"

Transporter 1, 2 and 3. The first one was kind of enjoyably bad, the other two didn't even have that going for them.
