I saw "Burnt Offerings". It is an older movie, a horror movie that's pretty scary and the acting is superb. I just wish it had a happy ending. The pool scene is particularly frightening. The father starts to dunk his son in the pool at this old house the family rented that is like a haunted house. The father puts on these antique glasses he finds in the pool and they seem to possess him. I think you can google the scene on youtube (called: Burnt offerings pool scene-Ben goes Crazy). Meanwhile the mother is being possessed by a music box.

Into The Woods 2014

Total bunch of shite and to make matters more annoying people are breaking out into song every 2 mins. I never used to hate musicals, I think I do now though.

Predestination - The synopsis (one that isn't vague) would sound like a joke, but it was serious and amazingly well-written. I thought it was going to be sci-fi/action, but it was romance/thriller.

Stir Of Echoes: The Homecoming.

Very late sequel (of a sorts) to the Kevin Bacon movie. Rob Lowe plays an American serviceman named Cogan returning from Iraq after being wounded, following a terrible mistake where a family was killed. Then he begins having horrific visions of burn victims, which begins to go from hallucination to reality. Seeking out the help of a spiritualist who had blinded himself because of the horrors he had seen, Cogan is told he must figure out what it wants in order to make it stop. From there, he comes to learn that the sin he is asked to rectify is not his own, but that of one close to him.
