I find there are some good TV series hidden in among all the junk that is being crammed on Kid's TV nowadays. For one thing I like "Yugioh GX". Here are some older kid's TV series that I have watched bits of and liked:

"The Wild Thornberries"
"Pinky and the Brain"
"Scooby Doo"
"Kissyfur" (a really babyish but cute TV series)
"Morph"
and some of the "Looney Tunes"

"Kim Possible" is also quite old and I like that.

There are other kid's TV series that I like, but I can't think of them right now.

I don't really watch kids shows anymore except for Naruto . I think those tween sitcoms like "That's so Raven" are lame. When I was younger I liked Doug, Hey Arnold, and PowerPuff Girls.

I don't think I've ever watched Powderpuff girls and I certainly didn't like Hey Arnold.

Oh yes, that one is quite good compared to most contempary kid's series. :)

Pixar animations have been getting worse, to the extent that I stopped watching them after Cars. Ratatouille really doesn't look that good. Anything else Pixar comes up with will also be rubbish, unless they do Toy Story 3.

I personally liked Ratatouille more than Cars (only a little bit) and it gives a good view on rats and cooking. I also think it's less slow than Cars.

And they are going to do a Toy Story 3, it's coming out in 2010. :)

I suppose that's good news. But although that would be good to watch, I'm starting to grow out of disney. Oh well, everyone get's older and I'm sure my brother would enjoy it.

I miss watching the Wombles (a British kids program, with furry creatures who recycle)

I got bored of the wombles after a while. I used to watch Power Rangers as well, back when it was good, as opposed to the rubbish it is nowadays.

I've heard the songs but I don't think I've ever watched it. I used to live in Wimbledon:

The wombles of Wimbeldon - common are we!
Making good use of the things that we find etc.

I was flipping through channels just now and damn, what is with kid shows? Everything is so freaking loud and chaotic. Crappy animation and obnoxious.

There will always be a special place in my heart for cartoons I grew up on. Fraggle Rock, Ghostbusters, Tiny Toon adventures, Rugrats, Pinky and the Brain... All the cartoons were pure gold.

I really hate this Spongebob Squarepants stuff. Really the only good one is Dora the Explorer; that is the only cartoon that isn't irritating. I know we're talking about kid shows here, but you know, kid shows don't HAVE to stink. There isn't this unwritten rule.

In spanish class we had to watch the Spanish version of Dora. "Soy el mapa!" was repeated maybe twenty times, the animation was second-rate, and Dora was one squeaky voice! It was torture.

I hate when our loyal cartoon brokers go into bubbly chick "sitcoms". So until you put in real escapism, we'll be waiting

Ahhh....I remember back in the 1990's when Cartoon Network and Nickelodeon still had good shows; Rugrats, Rocko's Modern Life, Ren and Stimpy, Pinky and the Brain, Animaniacs, Hey Arnold, Mobile Suit Gundam, Gundam Wing, Looney Tunes, etc.

I also think it is worth noting that the quality of the cartoons went down around the time they took Invader Zim off of the air. (Which in my opinion was the best show on Nickelodeon.)

I feel sorry for the children that are forced to watch Spongebob Squarepants, Zoey 101, Drake and Josh, Camp Lazlo, Ben 10, and all the others. It's a shame they weren't born in the 90's or some period before 2000 because the time before the new millenium was when all of the good shows were on.

It's a shame that the shows on Nicktoons Network were changed a few years ago because they had all the good cartoons. They still have some put many of the good ones are gone.

I feel sad now after reminiscing about this. :(

Inspector Gadget, Sonic, Mario, Visionaries, SWAT Kats, Pinky And The Brain, The Real Ghostbusters, 90's X-Men, Spider-Man and Hulk, Bucky O' Hare, Bots Master cor i could just keep on typing but i'd better not lol

to me most of the new cartoons have that "get yaself a ASBO it's a knighthood" thing about em'

those were cool cartoons that are probably on Boomerang's playlist.
Boomerang is a channel on australian cable that shows classic cartoons.
I liked Tiny Toons and Pinky and the Brain and anamaniacs as well as looney tunes (still do)
Power Rangers = doing stupid movements everytime you said something.

Hey, Power Rangers was part of my childhood. The quality dwindled after the fourth iteration though as they changed the main characters. Nothing will beat Alpha 5.
