I highly recommend Invader ZIM. Very wacky, dark humor with excellent animation. You can't go wrong with stupid aliens who replace kids' organs with random objects, even stupider humans that consider spilling fruit punch to be a worse offense than blowing up half of town, and an actually not-so-stupid robot who sings about doom and rubber piggies. It used to air on Nickelodeon but was canceled due to being a bit too wierd and violent for its target audience, but you can find the whole series on DVD nowadays.
