Finished Goof Troop. Weird choice for a final episode to have two episodes about the Goof family in a row.

How I Met Your Father (2023) on Hulu

Season 2, episodes 1-10 11

I stopped watching this show after season 1. I could not get through it. Why have I watched season 2, episoded 1-10 today (and still watching)? Because I watched Animal Control and How I Met Your Father started because it is still in my watch list, and more importantly, I was too lazy to change it.

Surprisingly, I have enjoyed it more than I did season 1. Why? Is it that much better? Maybe. But I honestly think it is because I am preoccupied working on a story and didn't have any preconceptions mentally comparing it to How I Met My Mother, which I really enjoyed. I have the DVD box set and I don't feel it was a mistake. There are some box sets I've bought that are iffy, in hindsight. Also, I am not hung up about how when I look at Hilary Duff, I was thinking her skin looked like it was at least an inch thick. I couldn't help it. I think it was how much rouge they had on her cheeks. I evidently just got over it. I'm currently watching episode 11. It's called Who's Your Daddy? Hilary just ran into the Barney Stinson's car after she realize the older man she is dating may very well be her dad. If you don't find this funny, that's more than okay. I find it funny, and I sort of regret that they are pulling in the cast of How I Met Your Mother, although Barney is a pretty funny character to have.

Sigh. Doogie Howser is getting older, but not as old as me. :)

Also...
Animal Control

Season 2, episode 4

Funny show.

How I Met Your Father is so very different from Korean drama.

Just finished episode 12 and Clark Gregg plays her dad. He is so likable. Paget Brewster plays her mom. I enjoy Paget Brewster.

Mythbusters

Season 3, episodes 2 through 6

I watched season 1 and season 2 a few months ago. And evidently one episode from season 3. At that time, I thought I would revisit it after watching Adam Savage's Tested YouTube channel. Yesterday I returned returned to season 3.

Enjoyable, informative, entertaining.

Jamie: "Remember, don't do this at home."
Adam: "We've got years of experience that keeps us safe."
I question the wisdom of have Adam deliver that line. Sometimes his hyper enthusiasm gets him into trouble. That said, he is not stupid and I wish I had there talent for fabrication.

I remember watching season 3.

Episode seven just start and Adam yelled "Hey! I drew blood!" (Jamie's blood.)
"We've got year of experience..." Okay.

Then a bit later, they are testing what happens to Jawbreaker candy when it is heated up in the microwave. (PLEASE DON'T DO IT!)
Jamie has one cut in two heat up and measure the temperature. And in Jamie's calm even tone -
"Ow. It really retains the heat. You could seriously burned with this. In fact I think I did."
He touched the center with his finger. Years of experience doesn't guarantee one will not get hurt.

Last night we finished watching our way through the second (and final) season of:

Holmes! Murder Rooms: Mysteries of the Real Sherlock Holmes [2000–2001]—Season 2

We both enjoyed it.
