Stingray Episodes 1-2

The marionettes give this a charming, cute quality. It's kind of like Star Trek, if instead of space, they were meeting aliens underwater. Sylvia made Marina mute to save herself time on voice acting. It's funny when time saving creates a more unique character.

I bought a boxset of every Stingray episode a couple of years ago from Ebay, only to find that they were all on YouTube, though I think maybe that's no longer the case. Might get round to watching some of them one day....
The boxset might be in better quality. I was watching it on Amazon Prime. I think it's at least worth watching a few to get a sense of it.

Eric ( 2024) on Netflix

IMDB description wrote:
Vincent, a grief-stricken father whose son goes missing, finds solace through his friendship with Eric, the monster that lives under Edgar's bed.

Episode 1 was rough to watch. (missing child)

Benedict Cumberbatch plays Vincent, a puppeteer and children show creator in New York. Vincent drinks too much.
Gaby Hoffmann plays his wife. If you saw Uncle Buck with John Candy, she was the little girl. She's grown up now.
Ivan Morris Howe plays their son, Edgar. I have not seen him an any before. Eric is his first
There son goes missing on his way to school.
Dan Fogler is also in the series. He played Jacob in the Fantastic Creatures series. In Eric he plays Lennie the puppeteer.

Eric (2024) on Netflix

Watched episodes two through six, finishing the mini series.

I honestly thought this would be a series that had a blend of whimsical imagination and reality, but it is more reality. Dark gritty, sometimes dangerous, reality.

It's on netflix

I've seen it before but I just really love it and I've ending my subscription so I wanted to watch it again

It's only one series

I love the dialogue in it and the monologues too

The script and the acting is fantastic imo

Coronation Street, episodes from mid-December 1994

The marriage of Deirdre Rachid (formerly Deirdre Barlow) and Samir Rachid faces a crisis as Samir is arrested by the Immigration Department and faces possible deportation. The relationship between Ken Barlow and Denise Osborne breaks up, with Denise shortly to give birth to their child. Curly Watts is engaged to be married to Raquel Wolstenholme, shortly after the latter's relationship with Des Barnes imploded catastrophically. It's all happening, folks!
