Been watching 3 Body Problem on Netflix. Just watched episode 6. It's really good.

Spacey Unmasked.

Two part documentary of actor Kevin Spacey's sexual transgressions, along with a look at his childhood, raised by a racist pedophile, which may explain why he's such a broken person.
Very sad, as I've long considered Spacey to be the finest actor alive.

My Living Doll (1964)

Episode 1

With Robert Cummings and Julie Newmar.
Robert Cummings is a psychologist, or psychiatrist.
Julie Newmar plays a robot, although I think android might be a a more fitting term.

It is quite funny. Warning, some of the humor is rooted in the era it was made. I'm referring to male humor about women. I am enjoying the show.

I was looking for a clip, but I found this which was much better explanation than I could give.
It says "My Living Doll (1964-1965) S1 E1" and it's not. Curious YouTube title. I wonder if it was episode 1, and the channel was asked to take it down. (???) It's more about the history of the show, what it was about, and the actors. It's an extra from a DVD. It's almost 30 minutes, so ... it's a chunk of life, but I found it interesting.


I'm watching the series on Tubi TV.

Julie plays the piano. On the series, her character learns how to play from watching television. In real life, I read she was a prodigy. (ah. There is a YouTube comment about it as well, but I read it yesterday in an article)

My Living Doll (1965)

Finished the last available episode.

There where 26 episodes, but episodes 4, 5, 9, 11, 12, 13, 15, 17, 19, 20, 22, 23, 24, 25, and 26 are lost. Too bad. It was a fun show.

I don't think it is serious science fiction, but it is entertaining. It used the phrase "Does not compute." several times throughout the series. It would later be used by Robby the Robot on Lost in Space.

One thing I found humorous is something they probably did not think, or know, about in 1964/1965. Rhoda's ability to learn, her Artificial Intelligence, a term that is not used in the show, can easily be corrupted by bad data input. That's what I'm calling it. She is susceptible to suggestion when someone tells her something as fact. She takes somethings literally. This gets Rhoda, and Robert Cummings into some tricky situations.

Too bad it was canceled. Too bad more than half the episodes are gone.

Returning to my "What has Park Eun-bin done before Extraordinary Attorney Woo?" quest. Eight series so far.

Neither IMDB nor Wikipedia have much about this show. Wikipedia has some viewership stats, TNmS and Nielsen Korea. Ratings don't affect me or how I watch the show. So I did not underline the title's link. It does not deserve an old fashion link indicator (links use to be underlined, hence why I do it).

It is a mystery. A man is sent to prison for raping and killing a young woman. Ten years later, his sister, who disowned him, learns he is most likely innocent. The hunt for the real killer begins.
The sister, played by Park Eun-bin, has become a judge in those ten years, and her boyfriend, a prosecutor, is linked to the killing of the young woman. It sounds simple, but it is not. There are plenty of people who are suspects parents, husbands, wives, friends; all seem to be part of the justice system as judge, attorney, or professor (ex-judge). There is a psychopath (I believe that is accurate) pedophile ("it's sex education") and an unresolved case where a smartly dressed woman is accused of loaning a designer bag to a modestly dressed friend, and the friend losses the bag, buys a new one, only then finds out the bag was a counterfeit. She had to take out a loan to afford the replacement, and the smartly dressed woman will not admit she knew the bag was a fake. How does this relate to the primary storyline? I don't know yet, but it is a show about judges and in this case, the smartly dressed woman is the judges first love, an unrequited love.
