Last night I finished watching my way through Doctor Who [1963–1989] season 20

I was pleased my bride willingly joined me in watching the final story of the season:

"The Five Doctors"

It was a special celebrating the show's 20th year...with all five (well, the first five) incarnations of the Doctor.

Gameshow with host Allen Ludden (partner to Betty White)

I've been watching episode from December 1966 when Elizabeth Montgomery and Jim Backus were celebrity guests.

At this point in life, Elizabeth Montgomery was on Bewitched, and Jim Backus was on Gilligan's Island.

Watched Betty White and George Gizzard (accent on the last syllable) as the celebrity guest from April 1967.

Betty White is interesting. She is very competitive. When she gets the word or her clue was successful, she is happy, all smiles, full of energy. She is hard on herself when she is wrong. For the word "tinkle" George's winning clue was tintinnabulation. After he and the contestant got the word, she seemed to fall into her own world, and under her breath she said tintinnabulation, and proceeded to spell it. She was barely audible. Later, she told Allen she once won a spelling bee with that word. In a later episode, it came out that her and Allen have had a running score in a card game of Rummy since they were married (1963) and she was approximately 10,000 points in the lead.

Allen Ludden was just a nice host.

If you are wondering who is George Gizzard? IMDB: George Gizzard I wasn't sure who he was, but I am now. I recognize his face from when he was older in shows like Murder She Wrote, 3rd Rock From the Sun, and other guest starring roles.

Dead Boy Detectives (2024)

I'm up to episode 5. It reminds me of a teen gothic mystery, which I'm fond of. I like the characters. I have not done any research, but I have a feeling it is based on a comic or manga.

I want to watch it again, when I've completed the series. There are details I over looked/forgotten. I watched episode 1 a while ago, and then half of episode 2 a couple days ago. As a result, I don't remember the backstories of three of the four main characters.
