One of my all time favorites! It very much captured the soul of Robert E. Howard's fiction.

^^^ Ed Wood is a film I never get tired of watching

Far From the Maddening Crowd

I enjoyed it very much. I enjoyed the story. The fact that I half guessed what might happen didn't bother me because it was setup in such a way that almost anything could happen. The journey from point A to B was good.

Also, Dr.Who actors were in it which is always nice, Carey Mulligan from the episode Blink, and Michael Sheen from The Doctor's Wife.

The more I think back on it, the more I like Be Cool. Chilli Palmer is just a great character.

American Sniper

Film on Chris Kyle, the most lethal sniper in U.S. military history.

I thought it would be fitting to watch it yesterday on Memorial Day.

R.I.P. Chris Kyle. :(

I gotta think this movie was the inspiration for the girl-turns-into-a-were-ape movies that Penny and Will Wheaton in The Big Bang Theory keep getting cast in.

Ghost Rider. My absolute favorite part is the very first transformation scene where there's the dramatic choir singing in Latin.

Inherent Vice.

Joachiun Phoenix stars as a hippie doper named Doc, who is perhaps the most unlikely private detective imaginable. His ex girlfriend, who he's still carrying a torch for, hires him to look into a scheme meant to screw over a wealthy developer she's been drawn into. Taking the job, he finds himself drawn into a labyrinth of bisexual prostitutes, the Aryan Brotherhood, the FBI, deviant dentists, a private mental health facilities out to bilk their patients, his frenemy L.A. PD detective named "Big Foot" Bjornsen (Josh Brolin), and controlling everything from the shadows, a sinister drug cabal known as the Golden Fang. This movie, which can be best described as a crime drama/comedy with occasional dark moments, is more than worth seeing, and comes highly recommended.
