Last night we finished watching our way through the sixth and final season of The Expanse.
Last night we finished watching our way the sixth and"The stars are better off without us"

\o/\o/\o/\*REALLY W O N D E R F U L ! REALLY

This show is wonderful hard science fiction. STRONG RECOMMEND!

My bride and I both think the TV series is wonderful but we both have complaints.
- She notes the TV series does not cover all of the also wonderful written series—she wants more!
- I've not been reading any of the written series. Base solely on the TV series—I want more!

Last night we finally finished watching our way through Star Trek: Lower Decks, Season 3.
Last night we finished watching our way through S"Rarely going where no one has gone before."

\o/\o/\o/\o/*REALLY R E C O M M E N D E D REALLY

This series exists in the same universe as the various other Star Trek series and movies and frequently references them...but you do not have to have any knowledge about the Star Trek universe to enjoy this show, the cross-references are fun but not essential material.

This show is excellent science fiction comedy! And my favorite show in the Star Trek universe.

Last night we watched:

The Night Stalker [1972]
<=>"A vampire killer loose in Las Vegas? It's hard to believe, isn't it?"

The Night Strangler [1973]
<=>"140 years ago he began to kill,
<=>"140 yearsrising from the caverns beneath the city to claim his victims.
<=>"140 years ago risingEvery 20 years he must kill...to live."

We both enjoyed both of them...just as we enjoyed them back in the 70's when we watched their TV broadcasts.

I infer we're not the only ones who enjoyed The Night Stalker—look at the cast they got for the second movie, The Night Strangler.

They are listed on IMDb as TV movies but they seem like part of the Kolchak: The Night Stalker [1974–1975] to me so I decided to put this on this thread.

I watched Kolchak back when I was a little kid when the shows first ran. Always a treat to watch them again.

I finished watching seasons 1 through 5 of What We Do in the Shadows on Hulu.

Season 6 starts October 21, 2024. Something I learned while watching seasons 1 - 5.

I've watched it before. I cannot remember what prompted me to re-watch it. I really enjoyed re-watching it. So many laughs, and Matt Berry can make my laugh just by saying a single word. He is blessed in that way.

Also watched Only Murders in the Building, season 4, episode 2.

Having just seen the "movieish prequels" we've started watching our way through the one and only season of:

Kolchak: The Night Stalker [1974–1975]
<=>"One man's quest to uncover the truth,\o/"

Last night we finished watching the first five episodes:
1. "The Ripper" [Sep 13, 1974]
2. "The Zombie" [Sep 20, 1974]
3. "They Have Been, They Are, They Will Be..." [Sep 27, 1974]
4. "The Vampire" [Oct 4, 1974]
5. "The Werewolf" [Nov 1, 1974]

We enjoyed all five episodes. And I'll note that if you follow my links above to their IMDb entries, be sure to look at the cast. There were a surprising number of actors whose names even I recognized!

I'll also note Episode #2 had old-school zombies. They were not the result of some strange infection, they were the result of voodoo.
