The Wild Wild West
Season 2, episode 14 - The Night of the Infernal Machine
I use to watch this in syndication in the '70s. I enjoyed the sci-fi aspect of the show. Back then I though Robert Conrad was pretty cool, but over the years I got the impression his was a misogynistic a-hole. I don't think he hated women. He was portrayed himself as Robert Conrad, sexist. Since then, I rarely watch the show.
Despite that, the episode was okay. Ed Begley played the bad guy, trying to take a short cut to becoming a judge on the supreme court. I tried it the old fashion way, by attempting to blow the other judges up.
I just noticed. Every episode of The Wild Wild West starts with "The Night of..." That's quite charming!

Wonder Woman
Season 1, episode 6 - Wonder Woman vs Gargantua
There is a tall man in a gorilla suit who is suppose to be a gorilla. Couldn't they afford the relatively young Rick Baker? By 1976, he had already created the make up for Schlock (1973) and the Dino De Laurentiis King Kong (1976.
Trivia: the giant ape was suited up by Mickey Morton, a very tall gentleman. He also portrayed Malla, Chewbacca's wife, in The Star Wars Holiday Special from 1978.

I remember I enjoyed The Wild Wild West [1965–1969]
\o/\o/\o/...however, I was a pre-teen until well into the third season.

I also enjoyed and recommend the Will Smith movie: Wild Wild West [1999]
\o/\o/\o/...but it is steampunk and therefore not for everyone.

Man About The House

A couple of episodes from a UK sitcom series first transmitted in 1973-74. Stars Sally Thomsett, Paula Wilcox, Richard O'Sullivan, Yootha Joyce and Brian Murphy, if that's any help to anyone.

Death and Other Details (2024)

Episodes 1 through 4

I always seem to enjoy Mandy Patinkin. He plays a sleuth attempting to solve a murder, or maybe is it two murders? It is a mystery, although not the kind of mystery that gives me goosebumps. More like a Miss Marple, or Hercule Poirot mystery. It takes place on a luxury cruise, and everyone seems guilty or at the very least have something to hide. In one case, three things to hide. (See what I've done there? I'm trying to be mysterious, and I know I suck at it. Agatha Christie I'm not. She's dead, I'm not. No mystery there. (See what I've done their? I'm trying to be funny, and I know I'm not. name of any good comedian goes here I'm not.))
At least my parentheses are balanced.

Tangent

A. I have been watching the Beetlejuice animated series on Tubi as I had never seen it before the new movie. The last episode I saw was "The Wizard of Ooze," which is a Wizard of Oz Spoof. They writers did a good job of showing you what a dream can look like.

B. I watched episode 2 of Georgie and Mandy's First Marriage Last Friday. For those of you who know the plotline with Sheldon's brother from Big Bang Theory and Young Sheldon and how he had to take care of everything. The new show went into detail of what that looks like where Georgie steps up to be the man following the death of Sheldon's father. F

Death and Other Details

Watched episode 5 through 10 (series finale).

The main character is a woman named Imogene, whose mom's car blew shortly after getting out, leaving her mom in the car. Rufus Cotesworth (Mandy Patinkin), considered the best sleuth investigator in the world and author of books, is hired to find out who blew up Imogene's mom. Imogene does not make a great witness, but Rufus recognizes she "sees things" others miss.

Time passes and they all end up on a luxury cruise. Then a man is killed. His identity is eventually revealed. Imogen believes it was the same man that killed her mother. Rufus warns her that when she makes up her mind beforehand, it colors how information observed and discovered is interpreted.

The plot zigged and zagged through several points of view (Imogen tends to put herself in other people's position when understanding what happened. There are also lots of relationships. Everyone knows everyone else. They are all members of two or three powerful families or work for those families. This includes the ship's staff. It is all very twisty and no one should be trusted.

The ending sets the show up for a possible season 2 or maybe a second mini series.

Dead Like Me (2003)

Season 1, episode 14 - Rest in Peace

Background. George is a young lady that dropped out of college, got a job, and while on her lunch break was hit by a toilet seat from space. She became a grim reaper. I first watched the episode in 2006. I think on the Sci-Fi network. I ended up getting the DVD set for season 1 and 2. This is one of those series I really enjoyed, and was really sad that it was canceled. It was originally on Showtime.

This is the the last episode of season 1.
This is the episode on YouTube, if interested. Not suitable for humans under, lets say 16 years old. Maybe 17.
