Netflix dvd: Frozen

I admit...it was a good movie. I feel it would have been a lot better and 'moving' if it didn't have all that singing it it.

It's funny how many people Robin Hood straight-up murders in this movie. Sixteen, according to IMDb trivia. People complained about the Kevin Costner and Russell Crowe versions being too dark, but I don't think either of them impaled as many people through the heart as Errol Flynn does here. And yet this is the one that's known as a lighthearted movie for kids. Go figure.

The Creeping Flesh (1973): A film with a 'Hammer' feel to it, starring Peter Cushing, Christopher Lee and Lorna Heilbron (of whom less was subsequently heard than might have been expected). Directed by Freddie Francis, who also did a few Hammer movies.

Bit of a confusing effort, maybe over-ambitious, but it has its moments.
