Last night we finished watching our way through season 2 of What We Do in the Shadows [2019–2024].

The TV series is a mockumentary about some vampires living together in Staten Island.

The TV series was great fun in its season 1...and got even better for season 2!

\o/\o/\o/R E C O M M E N D E D !\o/

 Vampires can live for centuries so, with any luck, so will this TV series!

I know I'm really late to the party here but Detectorists has charmed the pants off me recently. I'm a sucker for shows about male friendships because I don't have any. And rural England. And history. It checks a lot of boxes for me.

I'm pretty sure it's just Mikudayo slowly realizing her existence is suffering and we're laughing at that like it's funny.

^^^
same

also Rurouni Kenshin one Hulu (the anime)

I wanted to watch this for nostalgia. Now I know how people felt when George Lucas changed Star Wars.
IMDB confirmed that the original English dubbing, as appeared on the Cartoon Network, has been overdubbed with different dialog. He is no longer "The Man Slayer" but Botasai the Slasher. Kauru is now Kori. There is another person listed for Sanosuke as well. Kenshin is still voiced by Richard Cansino. So it has been sanitized for a modern audience? I'll watch it and see how it goes.

I still have it on DVD with the original dubbing, even though I watch in Japanese.
