Outlander

Season 7, part 1 (2023)
episode 1 - A Life Well Lost
episode 2 - The Happiest Place on Earth
episode 3 - Death Be Not Proud
episode 4 - A Most Uncomfortable Woman

On STARZ through Sling

I've seen part 1 (June 16, 2023 through August 11, 2023) before, although I remember very little about it. Part 2 of season 7 began airing November 22, 2024. I read this morning that the last episode of season 7 airs tomorrow, although IMDB says it is January 17, 2024. So, I added STARZ to Sling, and started watching.

There's a great little Australian series on UK Netflix at the moment called You can't ask that!. Each episode takes a group of people (Alcoholics, Intersex people, domestic abuse survivors, suicide attempt survivors, little people etc.) and asks them the questions that most of us would like to ask, in our genuine curiosity and ignorance, but probably wouldn't for fear of offending or triggering unpleasant emotions.

Anyway I've been watching that and I think it's amazing and I think every country should show it, or do their own version. It's a great way to foster understanding and acceptance of people who are marginalised or even demonised in these times of culture wars and tribalism.

Twin peaks S3E16
This episode almost felt like a season finale as it started tying up loose ends. This season still stretches some scenes interminably, and Lynch seems to like wasting time with whole songs with no concurrent action, but overall it is a great addition to the original 2 seasons.

Sister Boniface Mysteries
Season 2 (2023)
episode 8 - Dead Air
episode 9 - Stage Fright
episode 10 - The Good Samaritan

High Potential
Season 1, episode 8 - Obsessed

Will Trent
Season 3, episode 1 - I'm a Guest Here

Opinion time, as if it matters to anyone. I don't expect it should.
Sister Boniface Mysteries is always interesting and enjoyable. That is why I'm watching the four seasons again.

Will Trent is also very good. He is an interesting character and Ramón Rodríguez is a very good actor. All the actors really have nailed their character. Only complaint is the show is rather traditional in the American need to have a romance as a theme. It is about a crime, but it is also about various character's love life. The American public must know about the character's love life.

High Potential sometimes seems to be primarily about the quirky character of Morgan Gillory, played by Kaitlin Olson. I like her character. I just don't always like the solving of the crime. Also, the subterranean romantic relationship between Morgan and officer Adam Karadec is so transparent. Everything seems a bit forced. Again, it is American television, so romance must be a running theme. Yawn.

Sister Boniface. She's a nun. She has a good, close, friendly relationship with the police without the love life issues popping in every episode. It is touched on here and there, but it is not a story thread in every episode. I think that is way of the three, it is my favorite.

Watched two shows on Hulu.

Animal Control
Season 3 (2025)
episode 2 - Rattlers and Gators

Funny episode.

Abbott Elementary
Season 4 (2025)
episode 9 - Volunteers
Funny episode, if only because of the guest stars, Danny DeVito, Kaitlin Olson, Charlie Day, Rob McElhenney, and Glenn Howerton. They played their characters from It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia
.

They played five people who were volunteering to help in the school. It is community service. It was funny.

Hulu auto-played...
High Potential
Season 1 (2025)
episode 8 - Obsessed
I saw this episode the other day. I'm getting use to the things that bother me about the show.

Dana Ashbrook guest starred. Dana... who? Bobby Briggs from Twin Peaks. Of course.

Last night we finished watching our way through the final four episodes (Disc 3) of Season 1 of:

Sledge Hammer! [1986–1988]
<=>"Trust Me. I Know What I'm Doing."

19. "Sledgepoo" [Feb 14, 1987]
20. "Comrade Hammer" [Feb 21, 1987]
21. "Jagged Sledge" [Apr 21, 1987]
22. "The Spa Who Loved Me" [Apr 28, 1987]

The people making the Sledge Hammer! show figured out that the show would be cancelled after its first season, that is, after the 22nd episode so they decided to go out with a bang...with Sledge Hammer accidentally detonating a missile warhead and destroying the city and killing himself and other lead characters!

Watched the autistic crime drama, Patience.
It was a bit trite
With the autism information
But I could definitely relate.
Focused on masking and burnout.
