Me too. Critics hated it when it came out and it still gets a lot of undeserved crap to this day. I've been trying to improve its reputation lately by pointing out to people that it's basically an unofficial Mad Max movie, and a very good one. Maybe that'll get them to check it out, with the new Mad Max film causing such a renewed interest in that series.

Netflix DVD: XMen DOTFP i wanted to see the rogue scenes, but at least watching the movie again was fun. guess i'll have to buy it or maybe wait for netflix to get it?

Netflix DVD: The Last Survivor pretty interesting. I only got it cuz BooBoo Stewart was in it though.

Netflix Streaming: Eva a foreign movie, so had subs. It was a really interesting story. if you have seen A.I, then you will like this one--it just is more realistic than AI, but still set in the distant future minus all the fantasy elements. i recommend this one!

The Man From UNCLE

Funny movie! Many people around me were laughing so hard, that I started laughing too! It's based on a popular TV show from the 1960s of the same name, yet many people have never heard of the original show until now.

Into The Grizzly Maze.

Y'know, I thought that any movie with Billy Bob Thornton must be good. I discovered I was wrong.
Basically, a retelling of Jaws, but with a Grizzly Bear in the woods (I know, it was better the first time when it was called Grizzly).

I've just watched François Ozon's Water Drops On Burning Rocks. Tragi-comic, and un peu surrealistique, but still pretty dire stuff - I wonder whether that's to do with the fact that it's an adaptation of a Rainer Werner Fassbinder work, as the other Ozon films I've seen have been a lot better.

I know about Five different people who LOVE WaterWorld. We talk about it a lot. It is like a Mad Max movie. I am going to describe it like that now too.
