It was actually probably my favorite of those things. This seemed completely neutral, like it wasn't trying to portray them in any particular way and they just selected a random group of bronies.

I do commend them for portraying it in a completely neutral manner; something which I was pleasantly surprised by. It just feels that for any one positive portrayal this fandom receives, ten negative portrayals arise soon after.

What would a thestral pony with a unicorn horn be called? Would it be an Alicorn, or something else entirely?

I find Wikipedia has an exhaustive list of the different kinds of ponies...have you looked there?

I just got into this series a month ago...I was sick, bored, and curious to see what all the hullabaloo is about...I'm in love!

I haven't started on Season 2 yet but my favorite ponies so far are Applejack and Zecora :)

I only came upon one by chance when I was browsing DevART - Somepony's OC, no less. Still not a fan of Alicorn/Alicorn variant OC's, but ah well.
