Mad Max: Fury Road

I'm a big fan of the whole Mad Max series. I have all 4 of the movies and can't wait to see the next two after seeing Fury Road now for the 4th or 5th time. :)

The Station Agent starring Peter Dinklage, made all the way back in 2003 but it's a nice enjoyable movie about 3 lonely people with their own crosses to bare coming together and becoming friends.

Poltergeist.

That's the remake, not the original. As far as the reboot of the family moving into a new neighborhood built on a cemetery is concerned - - to say it was so-so would be giving it high praise.

Crimson Peak.

First rate horror film, of the gothic haunted house type. Taking place during the Industrial Revolution, a young American woman named Edith Cushing, born into privilege, and an aspiring writer to boot,... and had been warned as a child by her dead mother's ghost about a terrible place called Crimson Peak. She is swept off her feet by an English Baronet named Thomas Sharpe (Tom Hiddleston), who has approached her father to finance a machine meant for mining red clay meant for the making of red bricks. Learning a secret Sharpe and his sister had been hiding, Edith's father pays them a bribe to leave back for England, when he's conveniently and brutally murdered. Marrying Sharpe, Edith accompanies him and his sister back to the family's isolated estate back in England, to find the place grandly huge, but dilapidated, with a hole in the roof open to the elements, rooms that are not safe for human habitation, and a foundation sinking into the red clay being mined beneath. It's then that Edith begins seeing hideous apparitions, which Sharpe and his sister say are just her imagination. Soon, as her visions become more horrifying, and she begins to become sick, she discovers there is a terrible secret held between Sharpe and his sister. Worse, she learns from Sharpe how the red clay turns the winter snows red, for which the locals call the estate Crimson Peak. She knows she's at the place her mother's ghost had warned her about.
