To date, the only movie that has made me tear up was Toy Story 3. I started to get watery eyed, right where Andy gives Woody to Bonnie and says "... now Woody is special because he will never give up on you." And then when Andy gets in his car and says "Thanks guys", I really thought I was going to acutally start crying. THEN, when Woody looks up to he hs childhood friend driving away and says "So long partner..." s**t. I am getting misty eyed just remembering that movie.

Brutal but GREAT movie!

Wait, you've seen Taegukgi? Nobody's seen Taegukgi. It's so obscure.

Hell, I own Taegukgi! :D

It's not really obscure. It's a mainstream South Korean film. Just not the type of film mainstream English speaking audiences really care about. South Korean churns out tons of tearjerking films.

The beginning of Up made me cry. Toy Story 3's ending made me cry too. Then a part in The Chipmunk Adventure always makes me sad.

Moon made me break down. I was really convinced that Sam Rockwell and the character he portrays were one and the same and I felt so sorry for him.

If you haven't seen or heard of Moon, I highly recommend it. Starz on demand has it free right now and I've seen it twice. It's one of my favorite movies of all time and a great throwback to classic hard sci-fi movies like 2001 and Solyaris. It also has a mind-blowing soundtrack.

Toy Story 3 had me near tears at the end, but I guess I haven't really cried in any movie before.

Moon is also one of my favorite movies of all time. Go out and get it.

This is the particular scene from Moon that made me cry. Don't watch it unless you've seen the movie though, because it contains spoilers.

Shawshank Redemption - Birdman Brook's suicide and Red's "There's a harsh truth to face, no way im gonna make it on the outside" quote in the lead up to him visiting Buxton to find a hidden cache of money left for him by Andy. The music in both those scenes ALWAYS makes me misty-eyed.

Monsters Inc - When Sulley takes Boo back to her room and he tucks her in, they hug and the look on his face is so sad :( :( :(

Platoon - Samuel Barber's Adagio for Strings hits home hardest of all, and it's in my top 20 fave films list!

This is England - Combo's violent and racist attack on a fellow skinhead who's subsequently black, leaving young skinhead Sean in a state of shock. The music that plays makes me blub like a nipper.

The Fox and the Hound
Up nearly made me cry
Toy Story 3 definitely made me cry, especially as I still have most of my toys from my childhood and I am very attached to them.

Children of Men is a great film, and yeah, did make me shed some tears. It's funny, but for the first hour or so I thought it was rubbish, and then it suddenly got mind blowingly brilliant and emotionally affecting.

I want to read the original book so bad. That scene where the people are silent or crying when they see the baby is just... I can't describe it. Beautiful? And the scene where Theo's ex get's shot and Theo breaks down, that was one of the more depressing scenes I've seen in any movie. The whole movie, the backdrops and the things in the background, they made it unimaginably depressing, so that I wanted to cry, half the time, lol.

Ladder 49

The end was unbelievably hard to watch.
