Wind Walkers.

Part of the annual horror film series, 8 Films To Die For, a serviceman returns from the Middle East to go on a hunting trip with friends in the wilds of Florida, where it becomes apparent something is hunting them. Soon, the friends turn on one another, as well, as they are dying, in this variation of the Wendigo legend.
Pretty decent movie... except for the fact that it bears a resemblance to an unpublished story I had written.

Suffragette

One of the best political thrillers I've ever seen in recent memory. Centered around one of the earliest known women's rights movements, it focuses on a young mother named Maud {played well by Carey Mulligan} whose life is changed forever when she is recruited to join a feminist movement that eventually gave British women the right to vote.
Helena Bonham-Carter also stars in this movie as a pediatrician who is an active member of the movement and is friends with Maud.

I recommend this movie to everyone who wants to see this. It is worth the ticket.

Justice League: Gods And Monsters.

Alternate World DC comics tale where Superman is the son of Zod, and raised by migrant workers, Batman is a scientist who had been transformed into a vampire while trying to cure his blood disease, while Wonder Woman is the daughter-in-law of the late Darkseid. Working for the government, who they kill for, the justice League finds they are being set up for the deaths of the country's leading scientists. Pretty good alternate timeline cartoon movie.

A pleasant surprise. I wasn't expecting much from a Hallmark Channel version of this.
