Shredder.

A group of snowboarding friends sneak into a deserted winter resort for the weekend, only to be hunted down one by one and murdered by a serial killer who hates snowboarders. Yes, this is just another forgettable slasher film.

I just saw Star Wars: The Force Awakens again (second time).

This is why I like seeing a movie multiple times. I get so much more out of a second or third (or fourth) viewing.

Little things that bothered me when I first saw it, no longer bother me. I have constructed a rational for why things are the way they are. So my initial reaction to somethings, like character relationships may still be valid, but from another point of view, I can see they they make perfect sense.

I saw the latest Star Wars this morning--first show of the day only had half a dozen viewers in the theater. :D

The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey

It hurt less watching it this time now that I know what to expect.

The Hateful Eight.

Quentin Tarantino western, in which a black bounty hunter and former Union army soldier, a desperate female outlaw chained to another bounty hunter, a self-professed hangman, a former Confederate guerilla turned lawman, a cowboy, a broken down ex-Confederate general, among others are waiting out a blizzard at a saloon in the wilds of Wyoming. But not everyone is who they say they are, and have it out for the rest in order to save the captive woman. Great shoot 'em up/who did it. Highly recommended. Samuel L. Jackson, Kurt Russell, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Michael Madsen, and Tim Roth star.

I only know about The Gallows because I saw The Black Critic Guy's review/rant of the movie where he gave it the worst rating he's ever given a movie: Nothing. He said it was even worse than The Legend of Hercules, a movie I purposefully avoided as I could tell just from the trailer that it was going to suck.

In this new origin story, Tom Clancy's CIA analyst (Chris Pine) gets recruited by Kevin Costner to stop a Russian businessman (Kenneth Branagh) who's planning to cripple the US economy with a terrorist bombing on Wall Street.

Re-watched with Blu-ray audio commentary by director Kenneth Branagh and producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura.

I kind of liked this movie. It was no Red October but that is a high standard to live up to.
