Vertigo (1958)

Image

Studio description:

Quote:
Considered one of Alfred Hitchcock's greatest cinematic achievements, Vertigo is a dreamlike thriller from the Master of Suspense. Set in San Francisco, the film creates a dizzying web of mistaken identity, passion and murder after an acrophobic detective (James Stewart) rescues a mysterious blonde (Kim Novak) from the bay and must unravel the secrets of the past to find the key to his future. Recognized for excellence in AFI's 100 Years...100 Movies, Vertigo is a "great motion picture that demands multiple viewings" (Leonard Maltin's Classic Movie Guide).

Watched Mad Max: Fury Road

actually way better than expected, it was over the top and epic

the character Nux was done really well and all the Warboys were the most interesting characters in the movie I though

liked it better than The Revenant which is the only other Oscar nominated movie I've seen this year

The Conjuring. It was great.

The Evil Dead (1981). I understand why this movie is loved by so many people.

These operatives, known as "Ronin," are assembled in France by a mysterious client for a seemingly routine mission: steal a top-secret briefcase. Kung Fu Panda 3

I enjoyed this movie and it was just as good as Kung Fu Panda and Kung Fu Panda 2. Jack Black and Bryan Cranston have great chemistry as respectively Po and Li, the biological father of Po. Angelina Jolie and
JK Simmons were also great doing mostly scene-stealing.

Dreamworks has plans for a Kung Fu Panda 4, but no details have been made public.

I really liked that movie too. I even did a review of it on my blog. You can check it out at dpslim.blogspot.com if you want.

Like many, I wish PIXAR gave Newt the green-light over Cars 2 and Cars 3.

So do I, but sadly they cancelled it because it was too similar to Rio. Damn you, Blue Sky Studios. Always f*****g up good movie ideas.

IMO, it's the same with Dreamworks. Kung Fu Panda 3 shared themes that are similar to Finding Nemo, especially with the father/son relationship.

{Don't get me wrong, I like both Finding Nemo and Kung Fu Panda 3.}

Huh. Don't think I noticed that.
