I've been watching the HBO mini series Deadwood that I have on DVD.
Honestly, I've never heard as much profanity in any other movie. :D

The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai - Sci-fi----EXCELLENT movie----I can't, for-the-life-of-me figure-out why this movie flopped at the box office (I can totally see why it became a Cult Classic, though). Great cast, including Vincent Schiavelli (sp?), Christopher Lloyd, and John Lithgow.

I rate movies by whether or not I'd buy them----THIS one is DEFINITELY a buy-er.

The Black Cat.

Very inventive retelling of Edgar Allen Poe's story, with Jeffery Combs starring as Poe. Poe, a crazy drunk but insanely talented writer, finds his wife is dying of consumption (tuberculosis), and unable to provide for her. As he tries to write a new story, their pet black cat, Pluto, goes from getting on his nerves to causing him to fly into a murderous rage, first cutting out the cat's eye, then later hanging it, and burning the house down. Things get worst for Poe's mental state when a new black cat. also minus an eye, but now with a white noose shaped mark around it's neck, shows up. The next thing Poe kills is more than the cat. Or is this really happening? Great movie. My wife got it for me for Valentine's Day.

I saw a stage production of Arsenic And Old Lace years ago. It was an absolute riot.
