The Imitation Game.

Very well done. Fine work from Cumberbatch to play an arrogant autist without ever reminding me of Sherlock. Keira Knightley is turning into a decent actress, and it's always nice to see Charles Dance and Mark Strong.

The kid who played young Turing was brilliant.

Very entertaining movie, despite having some unnecessary gore. Colin Farrell and Sam Rockwell had great chemistry together on-screen and it's from the same guy who wrote/directed In Bruges.

It was great! It reminded me of Heat. The acting was top notch too.

Room.

Told through the eyes of a five year old boy named Jack, whose whole universe is a single room he shares with his mother, Joy, in which they watch TV, and food and necessities are brought to them by a sick, evil man named Nick, who uses Joy for sex. Now that he's getting older, his mother reveals to him that Nick had kidnapped her seven years before, and that there there's a whole wide world outside, and that they need to escape. Jack's mother puts him at great risk on the ultimate gamble in order to be free. But the dream of a paradise outside the hell of the room is not as simple or realistic as Joy believes, for her or for Jack, especially since Jack is Nick's biological son.
Very good, but heart rending movie. The ending had me close to tears.

I thought this was a good film. I was close to tears at the end too.
