Collateral

I'm not a huge fan of Tom Cruise and director Michael Mann, but this movie was terrific to watch. It was great watching Tom Cruise play against-type instead of playing his usual cocky a-hole type of on-screen character.

Zootopia

Even though this was an in-house Disney movie, this was a great movie to watch. Many who have seen Zootopia {even those who have liked this} have called it "a cutesy version of Animal Farm." Although some themes featured were similar to Animal Farm, this was more like Rush Hour meets American Hustle, except with animals.

I just finished watching Star Wars Episode V with my younger brother about a half hour ago. We're slowly but surely making our way through the saga.

Not bad. Got a little lost, though.

IMO, this was an interesting take on the hard-boiled detective genre.
No wonder Brick is considered a cult film.

Victor Frankenstein.

New take on the Frankenstein story, told from the perspective of his assistant, Igor. Spending his life as a circus hunchback and clown, Igor had spent his free time reading up on medical science, till he becomes a self taught doctor, but remains terribly abused. Then his fortunes expectantly change when he is rescued by Dr. Frankenstein, who drains the abscess from his back, gives him a back brace allowing him to walk upright, and teaches him to live in civilized society. Igor is as much Frankenstein's creation as is the monster they are responsible for creating. Enjoyable movie.

A really good movie. I have a few bones to pick with it though lol.
