Just saw Kilo 2 Bravo

Jesus, this is a tense movie. It's about a platoon of British soldiers in the war in Afghanistan - based on a true story apparently - and due to circumstances, they find themselves stuck in the middle of a minefield with several hurt comrades. It's not super action packed or anything, but it is definitely a good movie which highlights how brutal it is being injured in the middle of a desolate war zone. Recommended.

from theaters.... The Jungle Book.
not a real big fan of talking animals...but this one actually worked. The kid playing Mowgli did really well.
i recommend seeing it at least once in the theaters.

agreed. they hit all the right spots. i don't think i ever have seen the original jungle book film aside from very early in my childhood so this was mostly new. i didn't know a female kaa was new but it worked very well.

SO and i saw it and were very exited when "bare necessities" started up.

Exodus: Gods and Kings (on HBO at this time). It is about Moses and the freeing of the Children of Israel from slavery in Egypt. It has the best ten plagues I have seen in any movie on this topic.

^^ Simmian7: I watched the movie knowing nothing about it or anyone in it. Overall, I would say that it was an OK film. 5/10. The acting was good, but the story was unimaginative. If you are a fan of SF, it's probably worth a watch.
