A Night To Dismember. It was a true work of accidental surreal art.

Beat Angel.

Beat author and poet, Jack Kerouac, comes back from the dead, using the body of a recently deceased wino, shows up at a poetry slam celebrating his passing years before, in order to save a struggling and embittered writer from selling out and becoming a suit. An amazing Indy movie. This was a father's day gift from my wife.

I watched The Simpsons Movie the other day. It was OK, but not great. It basically felt like a drawn-out version of an episode from one of the newer seasons. In fact, part of the plot was recycled for an episode later on.

I agree.

I just finished watching "Finding Dory" which is a sequel to "Finding Nemo". I guess it was alright though it's sorta a kids movie. The octopus was pretty cool. I watched a segment on Daily Planet about the work that went into the animation of the Octopus so that was enough to make me check it out.

The Revenant.

Partly fictionalized story of mountain man Hugh Glass, who after leading his party of trappers to safety following an Indian attack (I know, I know, I should say Native Americans), he is mauled by a grizzly bear. When the two men who were left behind to nurse him leave him for dead, and murder his half-blood son, Glass follows, despite his horrific injuries, in search of revenge. Fantastic fight scenes.

Respectable

It's a recently released film about the British porn actress Mary Millington, who died in 1979 aged 33.

True to type for this sort of film, it suggests that death by overdose (or suicide) may have been murder, as with the cases of people like Monroe, Hendrix, etc.

The far more astonishing suggestion is that she may have slept with Prime Minister Harold Wilson in 1975.

Come On!! !!

What did you think of DiCaprio's performance as Hugh Glass?

I thought his performance was great, actually.
