I too liked Tommorowland, but many articles that I have read about Tommorowland have stated that Disney was looking for its next Pirates Of The Carribean.

IMO, it was also surprising watching George Clooney give a good performance in a Disney film.

'James White'

Real tear jerker, very powerful emotional movie. Great performance from the lead actor Christopher Abbot as well Cynthia Nixon.

Not one of those movies you plan on watching because of such a heavy subject matter but I am glad I did

I liked that movie as it had been promoted as based on actual events, till I found out that it was a total fabrication. Feines' character had actually been a Nazi sympathizer and agent, the love of his life in fact had been an SS officer and not that married lady, and he had never been in a plain crash or burned (not even slightly). If they had wanted to make a fictional movie, they should have done just that.

I would watch that movie.

I knew it was going to suck the minute I read the plot.

Really? I don't see the connection between Tomorrowland and POTC. I do agree that George Clooney's performance was particularly good, especially his interactions with Athena.

I watched The Amazing Spiderman 2 with my friend and her bf. It was even worse and funnier than I expected it to be.

When Tommorowland was released last summer, it was likely because Disney knew people were getting tired of the POTC franchise. Both POTC and Tommorowland are based off of rides at Disneyland.
