Jade (1995)

An incredibly awkward, unintentionally comedic erotic thriller that was panned and maligned back in it's day. David Caruso investigates the gruesome murder of a businessman and uncovers a prostitution ring for the elites of San Francisco. Shortly thereafter, persons of interest begin dropping like flies. The key to solving the case lies with one of the concubines, a woman known only as "Jade" -- who may or may not be the killer, and who may or may not be Caruso's ex-wife, Linda Fiorentino. The discovery of a cuff link at the original crime scene portends one of the most bizarre and flabbergasting plot twists I've ever seen in a film...

Linda Fiorentino is smoking hot in this. David Caruso is...David Caruso. And Chazz Palminteri has a hilarious sex scene in which he moans and lasts for less than a minute while his lover weeps in utter disappointment. There is also a classic car chase that takes the protagonist through a crowded Chinatown. The actors really try their best to sell the story, but the movie ultimately falls apart at the seams. Still, if looking for something trashy to pass the time on a rainy afternoon, one could do far worse than this.

Rifftrax, I will be waiting patiently... 8) 8) 8)

Embers (2016)

Really good post-apocalyptic sci-fi. Some kind of infection spreads around the Earth, and although it doesn't kill directly, people lose their short term memories. They can still remember certain things, like how to chop wood or speak a language, or sometimes a vague feeling that they love someone. People revert to their basic personality types. Mostly they wander around not knowing where they are. When they wake up, they don't know who they are or where. A scientist and his daughter are trapped in a bunker, protected from the infectious agent.

Anchorman: The Legend Of Ron Burgundy.

Very, very funny satire about the all male news industry having to except diversity with women in the newsroom.

Yes I am a huge Mel Brooks fan.
It's good to be the King.

Creed

Though I believe there should have been more fighting scenes, I personally found this movie rather touching and surprisingly unformulaic.

^^All the Rocky movies have done something to me, in fact Rocky Balboa was the one that connected me to my grief.
Rocky 1 probably brings me back to the way my only stable relationship really was.

^^ I hope you are keeping yourself well, Empathy.

In all of those that I have watched (I am yet to watch the entire franchise), there's always a scene or two which makes the hairs on the back of my neck stand up. I think it must be something about underdog movies in general, as even a children's film like The Mighty Ducks has evoked strong emotion inside of me.

I actually thought I was in love with Stallone, then I realised it was an expert actor who is able to channel grief through emotion.
