The Killing Joke.

Good graphic novel movie adaptation. It could have been great, except that they chose to add a secondary story before the actual main storyline begins, involving Barbara Gordon as Batgirl, who ends up having an intimate encounter with Batman. This all ends up seeming clunky and disconnected to the primary story of the Joker shooting Barbara and kidnapping Commissioner Gordon with the intent of driving him insane in order to prove that it takes only one bad day for someone to lose his or her mind. I think they just wanted to make this a feature length movie, so the extra stuff was added, but once the main storyline gets started, it follows the graphic novel about 95%. Mark Hamill was incomparable as the voice of the Joker. Still, I liked the graphic novel better, as the movie just wasn't able to capture the raw emotion.

See No Evil.

A group of low security offenders are sent on work release to clean up a long abandoned hotel, which is the home of a serial killer believed to be dead, played by pro-wrestler Kane. Not bad for a B horror film, but not exceptional, either.

Recently I was dragged into the theater and forced to watch the new Jason Bourne movie. I'm sorry I know a lot of people love those kinds of movies but action movies just aint my thing. Plus what is the deal with the CIA in all these different movies one minute they're the good guy heroes (Like in "Spy") and the next they're completely evil and corrupt. Frankly I couldn't care less about the CIA because I am sure that they are no different from any other government agency in the world and I'm very positive that Hollowood never portrays them accurately just like they never portray ancient civilizations or autism accurately in their movies.

Scary Movie 2 and Ink

Kind of an odd combo but it's all good.

Always Watching: A Marble Hornets Story.

First rate, low budget found footage horror film. When a news crew investigates the disappearance of a family who had left behind a library of haunting videos of a mysterious, faceless stalker, they themselves find the same apparition pursuing them.

I read that they wanted to add more to help make her rape a little more sensible within the story, rather than have it happen for shock value. Great artwork in the comic, but I think it's one of Alan Moore's low points.
