I justed remembered another fanfic I once read. It was a Family Guy one that involved Meg falling in love with guy and having a child together and Chris and Jillian having twins. I lost interest in it mostly because of new episodes.

I've written a couple of fanfics - mostly for the Elder Scrolls series and KOTOR. Looking back at them now, they're all pretty terrible.

I read some from time to time, too. This one is easily my favorite (even though it's a trollfic):

I have never writen fan fiction but I would like to because I watch alot of tv and movies and always keep thinking crossovers and it should be writen down but it looks hard to me. I have on occassions read some fan fictions. Two in particular I like are Agent-G's crossover with the Justice League cartoon and Spider-Man and a crossover between Beast Wars Transformers and Pokemon. I have just recently discovered a Justice League/Ben 10 crossover from a guy who was inspired by the Spider-Man one.

Justice league/Ben 10 boy does that sound boring

I used to write original stories, but now I write fanfiction as people actually read that.

I made a thread where I have plot suggestions for fan fiction writers. So far, none have been taken, but I hope one day that some body stumbles upon it and takes one of the ideas.

Here's a Harry Potter Log Fic I wrote. Hope it isn't the worst.

Diary of Gerald Flot, American Hogwart’s Student

Date:8/15/10

OMG! Im going to this new school and all, so lame In England, too. Some random big guy told me, had a beard. Told me I’m a witch. Whatever. :(

Date:8/25/10

OMG. This place is so lame; I can’t use my cell-phone or my computer, so I have to use this book. Guess I have to type each entry.
Good news is, I have a wand!! ! really cool. I read some books on spells and stuff, so ya.

Date:9/5/10

Going to school on a train. Met some people. So weird. They don’t eat normal candy, but I tried some. Tasty!
ANYWAY, I got to meet the teachers. Some of the boys: So cute:D! 4 groups; got placed in this one called ‘Hufflepuff.’ So lame. One of the boys there, 12, called Teddy. Weird hair. Changes. In this one group called ‘Gryffindor.’ Orphan.Whatever.
Date:9/6/10

Started classes. So fun! :D We don’t do regular school work, but we do stuff like magic and things. I think I will like it here.
Also, the one sport they play, ‘Quidditch,’ is cool.
Teddy is a bit eerie. I stay away from him.

Date:10/15/10

OMG! HALLOWEEN FEAST COMING! AWESOME!

Date:11/1/10

Halloween was great. Food:Awesome. I really am starting to like it here.

Date:12/14/10

After a while, found this weird place. Crossed it once when I wished to have a place to study, I entered this room with a table and chairs. Next when I was passing, I wished I had a computer, and I entered a small cupboard like thing with one. Awesome!
Teddy’s noticed it. He is weird.

Date:12/25/10

Christmas! I even got presents from Dad & Mom!! !

Date:1/16/11

I got hurt. To be specific, I broke my leg. Don’t worry! They fixed! So cool when it happened. Need more time to study.

Date:2/14/11

Valentine’s Day! Met a cool boy. Name’s Bartimaeus. Showed him room. COOL!! !

Date:3/17/11

Saint Patrick’s Day! Wore green! Some people got it. Others didn’t.

Date:4/1/11

April’s Fools Day! Told us to stop at midday. Oh well.

Date:4/8/11

OMG! Easter! So. Fun.

Date:5/20/11

Tests coming! Studying! Tedd studies too.

Date:6/4/11

What a year! It was the funnest I have had in my life. I can’t see how I could not like it. Therefore, I finish. Now I will upload it to my computer.

Don't judge me - please?!

Hello, my name is VtMomBear and I enjoy indulging in Twilight FanFiction.

It all began when I spoke with a friend one day who had just finished reading the series; she was SO adamant about how horrible the series was, went on and on and on about the drivel on those pages. Of course that piqued my interest; why does this intelligent woman feel the need to negatively rant about books that lead her to read the whole series?

Shopping at a favorite discount store soon afterword I saw the first two in trade-paperback at a goodly discount. Grabbed both and ended up achieving Zen Chair with the first - it was sweet in a young adult fiction sort of a way. The ordered the last two from Amazon immediately before starting the 2nd. Got busy before starting that 2nd book and by the time I opened it up the last two arrived.

She was right. Drivel. Teen Angst R Us.

The first book was every dysfunctional-family, plain and painfully shy HS girl's fantasy coming true! Any current or past awkward teen girl can identify with this premise.
Mysterious and beautiful boy resists then takes an interest in her that makes her feel loved and cherished. His whole family (almost whole) falls in love too and gives her the the stability and warmth she had never enjoyed before. They take care of her and for the first time in her life she does not need to be a caretaker, and they surround her with the trappings of comfort and wealth that she never dared dream of. Then they all run her rescue - even the reluctant ones - when a sadistic one of their kind decides to make her his prey.

The second book started in that same line then her angsty forever-teen "Romeo" makes a decision for her that cuts her off from the only security she's ever known and she has a psychotic meltdown.
Now it's pathetic. And the stories became more and more fantastical - and not in the good way, but in the unbelievably bad way. But I slogged thru because I now owned that drivel thinking there might be more gems along the way. Nope.

Then I heard about FanFiction. And started reading the Twilight side (all the Harry/Draco slash in that section was a tad off-putting to me, especially as I never could see them as sexual beings). There was drivel galore, but also heroines with backbone never seen in the originals, more of the darkness hinted at and better explained, and the pathetic male protagonist often got his butt handed to him - YES!
These FF writers pointed out how lousy the cannon was, saw thru the original characters and made them less or more as needed. Yeah, there was still drivel, but many gems to be found in the rubble.

So I still read it now a couple years later and love the non-canon pairing best - and if a promising story becomes bad-fantasic and/or drively I drop it without guilt and look for more.
Cheaper than buying second-hand books for quiet brain-rest times!

I love reading fanfiction (Do not write any though) normally on FF been reading since around 2006.I particular like reading Sonic The Hedgehog Fanfiction(Tails being the main),
Dragon Ball Z (Gohan being the main) and often Star Wars (Anakin/Darth Vader being the main) and now more recently Naruto again. I particularly love fiction where the character has either been framed ,had a sad/dark past, is on the run ,Time Travel and redemption fics.

My favourite fanfic is actually an incomplete one which I read when I first began reading fanfiction and that is Spyder by Renz(Sonic The Hedgehog Tails fic) still makes me wonder what it would have been like had it been completed and that still fascinates me.

I get strange ideas in my head. Unfortunately, not all of them are good or pleasant.

Which is why I have this list of what I call: Disturbing Ships that Appear in My Head

Rake/Slenderman :This is just plain horrific.

Dave/Wayward Vagabond: Ridiculously stupid, and amazingly squicky.

Wesley Crusher/Diana Troi:Let's see what is wrong here(besides the fact that Troi is older than Wesley)...Oh yeah, Troi is cooler than that whiny little b***h!

Jar Jar Binks/Adric:Do we need to explain why this is stupid?

Which of these disturb you the most?

Guilty! Anyway, I'm in no position to judge. It seems to me that fanfiction is an understandable offshoot for a lot of our obsessions.

I read and write fanfiction. I find it great fun. I don't write lemons or anything though, I'm horrid at it.
