Characters you don't like.
Ah, you're speaking about the movie Edward Scissorhands. Jim really was a huge jerk with no redeeming qualities. Definitely one of the most despicable characters in a Tim Burton movie.

Yes, I hated that guy in the movie.

Yes, I hated that guy in the movie.
Me, too, but I think Joyce was even worse. She lied about Edward raping her just because he ran away when she tried to seduce him.

Phil Mitchell from Eastenders - I don't like Eastenders FYI. This guy is an as*hole, his son is an as*hole and a bloody murderer, pardon my language. His voice is annoying. God I hate this guy.
General Hauger from Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer - He's a jerk who clearly belongs in the line of jerks who hate superheroes e.g. J Jonah Jameson, Harvey Bullock but those guys I like. This guy leaves nothing for me and I hate to sound cruel (but he is a fictional character after all) but I'm glad Dr Doom killed him.
Rachel Dawes from Batman Begins - I love both Nolan Batman movies but like many other people I didn't really like this character. She doesn't ruin the films for me and she's not even that terrible but honestly I can't really explain why I don't really like this character unless I see other peoples opinions and I can draw my own conclusions. I will say that I probably prefered Maggie Gyllenhaal to Katie Holmes, but (and I hope I don't sound cruel for saying this because I wouldn't be glad about it if it happened in real life) but I was kinda glad that she was killed off in The Dark Knight. It was still a sad moment though but I'd say make room for Selina Kyle.
Theodore Galloway from Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen - Ratchet is right to call him a fool. This tweedy little twerp is hated for hating the Autobots.
Charlotte Mearing from Transformers: Dark of the Moon - Mostly for the first half when she being kinda of a b***h but later, well she wasn't the reason that I liked the movie.
The line of Tannens from the Back to the Future trilogy - I love these movies and at times Biff can be funny but he, his grandson and his ancestor are utter jerks. My least favourite is the rich one from alternate 1985. Mad Dog was probably my favourite.
Julie Yamamoto from Ben 10 Alien Force/Ultimate Alien - She's OK most of the time but usually when she shows up it's always pointless bickering with Ben 10 and he always comes out as being the jerk and his so called friends always side with her. Also aside from the fact that she has a pet alien which can morph into a spaceship and a battle suit which she hardly uses she doesn't do much. If she was featured more then maybe she would be more interesting. Also her voice is kinda dull.

-Peter Griffin from Family Guy, because I'm Canadian and he once said Canada sucks and that we're a bunch of freeloaders.
-All the characters from South park, because I think they went just went way too far with the "kick a ginger" episode or whatever it was called, and now young people think it's cool to hate and bully someone just because they have red hair.
-Elaine from Seinfeld because she once tried to steal and abandon someone's annoying dog. I hate annoying dogs that bark constantly too, but abandoning a pet is extremely cruel no matter what.
-Mr. Spacely from the Jetsons. Even as a little kid I really hated him because he was so mean to George and was always firing him. One time my brother asked me "Do you like George Jetson?" I said yes. "Do you like his wife?" Yes. "Do you like his daughter?" Yes. "His son?" Yes. "His dog?" Yes. "His boss?" my bro must have been trying to trick me into saying yes again, but I said NO!
-All the characters from all the Scooby-Doo shows and movies. They have got to be the most overrated cartoon franchise ever made. The only thing I like about it is the Scooby-Doo, Where Are You song. And making fun of the characters and episodes. Scrappy-Doo is possibly the worst, but why is it he can speak perfect English while his uncle Scooby starts every word with an R?
-Spongebob. I just don't like him. I know other people have reasons for hating him but I have never liked him from the start and I've never had a really good reason, although the few early episodes I watched I found quite funny and imaginative.
-The Fairy Godmother from Shrek 2.
-Prince Charming from Shrek 2 and 3.
-A lot of the villains on the Smurfs were even more scary and evil than Gargamel and I really did not like them or episodes they were in, like Balthazar (Gargamel's godfather) and Clorhydris (a witch who despised love).
-Pizazz and Stormer of the Mistfits band (from the old Jem cartoons, anyone remember her?). They would do very nasty, dangerous and even illegal things to ruin the reputation of Jem and the Holograms. Pizazz was the worst, she was very obnoxious and hated everything, but one of the Misfit girls (I think her name was Roxie, she had long blue hair) was actually pretty nice. But she was misguided, insecure and afraid of Pizazz and Stormer and would usually go along with their evil plans. And their manager was an absolute creep!

Percy Whitmore (Dough Hutchison) from THE GREEN MILE.
Dolores Umbridge (Imelda Staunton) HARRY POTTER AND THE ORDER OF THE PHOENIX.
I'm pretty sure she spend the rest of her life in Azkaban.

I realize my timing is a little off (and probably in poor taste) since her final show was last night, but... pretty much every regular character portrayed by Kristen Wiig on SNL irritated me. I don't know what it is, exactly, and I don't mean it as a slight against her personally. Maybe the writers were to blame. She just always seemed to end up playing obnoxious, self-absorbed morons-- Mindy Grayson in the "Secret Word" sketches, and the Target Lady, and Kathie Lee Gifford (okay, so maybe that last one wasn't too far off the mark). I think what bothered me was, I didn't see very much diversity or depth in her characters-- they were all pretty much varying degrees of "unhinged".

This is no doubt intended but I absolutely hate Patrick Bateman from the book, American Psycho. I think he is a perfect as*hole and a complete f*****g loser, despite all his money, career and all he has he's a materialistic, self-centered bastard. But yeah..that's the point, he supposedly murders people too but really, that's not 100% certain, all the murders you see could be completely fabricated in his head. In fact, I don't remember, but someone pointed out good evidence to me that suggests this. I haven't read the book in two years so I can't recall very well. He kills women, animals or he at least fantasizes about the first.
Apparently he's just hilarious in the movie, but from the few clips I've seen he's just as much of a dick with a good actor doing a damned great job portraying him. It bothers me how many people probably think he's "cool" too or wish they could be Patrick Bateman, males at least.
I LOVE Mr Krabs! He's the funniest!
Yuppies have historically chosen really bad cinematic role models. Maybe it's just that the people who think that Patrick Bateman is "cool" have selective attention. When you think about it, it's no better than people in the 80s looking up to Tony Montana and Gordon Gekko. Yes, they accumulated wealth and power, but that isn't the point of either of those movies. Scarface ends with Tony Montana's lifeless, bullet-riddled body floating in a pool of water and his own blood. Wall Street ends with Gordon Gekko going to prison for unethical business practices. People who watched those movies and took away from them only the part about the perks of becoming rich totally lost out on the real message.

Also, I almost forgot, I really dislike Skylar White from "Breaking Bad", as much as I love the show. Her hypocrisy, bossy attitude, unethical decisions (including adultery and negatively manipulating situations in a very unnecessary fashion), and the way she mistreats other people gives me more than enough reason to hate her as a character. That's good though, cause you want characters that you can truly hate with passion. Skylar is the ideal example and I despise that b*tch to death!
The wife on the Tim Allen show that wrapped around Tool Time... Home Improvement. It just seemed to me like the whole "joke" of that show was how incompetent men in general are, and the wife pretty much made it her mission in life to keep reminding him of that.
Also, Ally MacBeal, or maybe it was some of the other characters on the show, I couldn't watch long enough or I've mercifully put it out of my mind.
The Mrs. has been watching Desperate Housewives in marathon style (netflix/hulu+) and it kinda varies from season to season. I think I would dislike Susan if I knew her in real life, but in the next-to-last season, I really started to develop a dislike for Lynette. She practically forced her husband into taking a high-paying job, and then when it turned out that he had to put in the hours and do a lot of traveling, suddenly she got all resentful. Okay, so I tend to identify more with Tom than anybody else on the show (although my favorite is Carlos), and the story line has Tom caught in a can't win situation.
The Mrs. has also been watching that new series "Revenge," and after watching the first couple episodes, I just found there wasn't anybody I DID like. Even the presumed heroine, I didn't care for.
I really liked Glee during the first season, but as soon as Will broke up with his wife, he turned into kind of an inconsiderate jerk. And I liked Rachel during the first season, tho' I think that had more to do with the short dresses and no stockings than it did with her character... but as time went by, I liked her less and less. I am no longer required to sit and watch Glee, for which I am very thankful...
