A DVD compilation of Looney Tunes animated shorts that my sister rented from the neighborhood library.

ParaNorman. It's now on my list of favourite movies.

Sandra: Not believing in an afterlife is like not believing in astrology.

Norman: I like to be alone.
Neil: So do I! Let's do it together!

Perry: I wish I understood you.

Grandma: There's nothing wrong with being scared Norman, so long as you don't let it change who you are.

Neil: What do we do Mitch?
Mitch: I dunno, I dunno!
Neil: You're the oldest!
Mitch: Not mentally!

The Craft on Netflix

After a very promising start, the film completely falls apart in its final 30 minutes. It felt terribly disjointed as it seemed like it couldn't decide what type of film it wanted to be. I would have enjoyed it far more as a teen drama. The periphery characters who were portrayed by Skeet Ulrich, Christine Taylor and Breckin Meyer were all underused.

Oh and Robin Tunney's wig was utterly laughable.

Southbound.

Horror anthology of three interconnected stories about travelers getting involved in something horrific on a stretch of highway and a little town seemingly off the grid. In the end, the stories are all circular, and seemingly will repeat, forever. Not too shabby.

The Screwfly Solution.

Homicidal violence against women becomes epidemic, when Elliott Gould, Jason Priestley, and others, come to realize someone or something has spread an infection with the intent of destroying mankind.

Survival of the Dead, not a bad film as it relates to the Dead franchise so to speak yet, not the greatest. I'm not into zombie movies, but wanted to watch it regardless to see what new concept/ideas could be injected into the story this time.

Triple 9

I actually liked it...

It reminded me of Heat, and Casey Affleck and Chiwetel Ejiofor both delivered solid performances...
