Happy that Don Bluth's work isn't in the dark, but kind of iffy on the whole revamped-into-3D-and-Live Action decision.

If it turns out like the new Chipmunks movie they'll have done well.

I remember watching The Secret of Nimh back in 5th grade, and really liking it. I've been meaning to get it on DVD since I want to check out more of Don Bluth's work.

Back to the subject at hand, I don't have high hopes for it. I don't think the live action/CGI combo would look as good as the lush animation in the original movie. However, I guess its best to wait and see.

*sighs* that just makes me heart hurt...

Cinema is dying...it's being killed off slowly by REMAKE AFTER REMAKE, superior animation and/or CGI.

Leave the classic films alone!
