I watched Cinderella Man last night. It is the best movie I have seen in a long while. I highly recommend it. Ron Howard and Russell Crowe make a great team. Seriously! It grabs you in immediately and keeps you in until the end. In fact, it is such a great movie, you kind of end up wishing it would go on a little bit longer. The boxing matches are spectacular, the acting is superb, and it is not your typical Depression-era movie. I loved it!

I loved it too. I left the theater thinking "Crowe'll get an Oscar for this" and then two days later he throws a phone at a hotel clerk. Then I thought "Dumb bastard just blew another Oscar."

My favorite scene was when he goes intot he gentlemen's club and begs for maoney to pay the electricity bill. That was so wrenching. Crowe was incredible - amazing thatan actor who's so pushy and macho in real life can pull off such vulnerability on screen.
