Yes. Along with Once it's my favourite film of the year.

I love quirky indie comedies like "Juno" and "Life Aquatic" and "Winter Passing".

Juno's great. I recommend it whole-heartedly.

I saw it and there were parts that were good and others no so. I'd give it 4/10. Some of the music in the film is really good though. too quirky for my taste.

I saw Juno the day after Christmas.
It was very good & admit that Ellen Page is my new celebrity crush.

I saw it the day after New Year's Day. I liked it especially Ellen Page and Jennifer Garner being in it.

If you like Ellen Page you should check out Hard Candy. It's awesome.

Personally, I found Hard Candy to be the most soul crushing movie I have ever watched. :? Although, in retrospect the castration sequence was pretty funny.

Reviving this thread

I saw JUNO last week with my daughter.
I really like the movie, she like it but didn't seem to like it as much as I did.
I also have the soundtrack now... $12 on sale!

I read the story about the screenwriter, but not her own personal book yet... interesting person...hmmm

Wish I could write like that.

I've seen it five times, and it's not even out on video yet.

:D

I have seen it derided for many things, one of which is the idea that no 16 y.o. would ever talk and act like that.

I think this assumes that every 16 y.o. is the same in maturity, personality and education level.
I have known some 12 y.o.'s that I know interact with adults very much like Juno.

I really love the quirkiness of the whole cast and film.
It's a welcomed departure from the typical 'pregnant teen' movie/story.

I also did not feel that the scene with planned parenthood had anything to do with some pro-life stance.
It was just a different look/take on how that particular scenario might play out in real life.
I am not a pro-lifer, yet I found that scene to be just fine in how it was written and acted in.

I haven't watched it, but looks like it's getting good reviews. Looks worthwhile.
