This game is great because it has a game plus function when you beat it and it has a sequel coming out around summer. The computer graphics are really good, the game play style is turnbase. It does take time to gain stats on your characters but if you don't get everything the first time around you always have the game plus to get more. Once you learn a skill/magic in the first game it will be in the game plus so you don't have to learn it again.

I had to watch the trailer even though I own the game! I just adore that trailer and the opening theme. The thing I like about it is that it's a challenging game that really makes you use your head, even a small detail like what order the characters are placed in can effect the flow of a battle. That and the soundtrack is just beautiful, I think the fact that they used some really intrigueing music for the background gave it a wonderful ambiance. Instead of being game-ish sounding music it was some really awesome guitar and jazzy sounding music which I appreciated as a contrast to most game music I'm used to. The optional bosses were a nice touch too!

And for those who would take an interest in DDS or Nocturne you'd probably also really love Shadow Hearts & SH2 which I have to glomp!
