Has anyone seen this anime? Now I'm not really into a lot of Anime, the only one I used to like was Sailor Moon. However my friend recently got me hooked on this one called Pet Shop of Horrors, and it's really neat!
It's basically like the movie Gremlins, where the main characters in each episode buy a strange pet from a mysterious man named Count D who runs a Pet Shop in Chinatown. The monster pets are suppose to bring joy to the owners after something tragic happens to them, but there are always 3 rules regarding each pet (one always being don't show them to anybody). Whenever the owners break the rules something bad happens regarding their pets and the pet shop says it can't be held responsible for the actions of the pets.
There are 4 episodes (but I've only seen the first two). One is about an old couple that buys a rabbit that looks exactly like their dead daughter, one is about a man who buys a mermaid that looks exactly like his dead wife, one is about a famous actor who buys Medusa (a monster with the torso of a woman and the lower body of a lizard), and one is about a politian who buys a Kirin (an Asian monster that grants wishes through the blood of others).
