Here is my ideal Batman series.

My Batman will be a TV series produced by the BBC, and unlike other Batman series, it will not be set in Gotham, it will be set in London, i will be one of the three main Executive producers along with Doctor Who producers Steven Moffat and Julie gardner

now for the cast

Jeremy Edwards (Holby City and Hollyoaks) as Batman
Larry Lamb (Gavin And Stacey and Eastenders) as Alfred Pennyworth
Philip Glenister (Life On Mars) as Lieutenent James Gordon
Danny John Jules (Red Dwarf as Lucius Fox)
Jemima Rooper (Hex) or Zoe Tapper (Survivors) as Victoria Pond- a character that i made up that is named after the Doctor Who assistant Amy Pond.
Julian Bleach (Doctor Who and Torchwood)as The Joker- The Man who played Davros in the new Doctor who series would make a brilliant and creepy Joker, as he played creepy Joker like characters in the past.
Gareth David Lloyd (Doctor Who and Torchwood) as Jonathan Crane/Scarecrow
Anthony Head (Buffy The Vampire Slayer) as Ras Al Ghul
Steve Pemberton (League of Gentlemen) as Carmine Falcone
Mackenzie Crook (The Office) as Joe Chill
Peter Capaldi (The Thick of It) as Sal Maroni
James Nesbitt (Cold feet) as Harvey Dent/ Two Face
Marc Warren (Hustle) as Victor Zsasz
Noel Clarke (Doctor Who and Kidulthood) as Killer Croc
John Simm (Life On Mars and Doctor Who) as Edward Nigma/The Riddler- David Tennent who played Doctor Who was rumored to play the Riddler in the Nolans third Batman movie, John Simm played the Doctors evil counterpart the Master, so i think John Simm would make a brilliant Riddler and he should play the Riddler in a simular way he did for The Master
David Suchet (Poirot) as the penguin/ Oswald Cobblepot
Kara Tointon (Eastenders) Sophie Okonedo (Hotel Rwanda) or Freema Agyeman (Doctor Who) as Catwoman/Selina Kyle
Karen Gillan (Doctor Who) as Poison Ivy
Rita Simons (Eastenders) as Harley Quinn- I think this sexy Eastenders actress would make a brilliant Harley Quinn
Goldie (Eastenders) as Bane
Chris Barrie (Red Dwarf) as Arnold Wesker/ Ventriloquist- Do Not forget Mr Flibble
Robert Llewellyn (Red Dwarf) as Blackmask
Rachel Stevens (S Club 7) as Talia Al Ghul
Chloe Annett (Red Dwarf) as Batwoman
George Costigan as Mr Freeze
Roger Lloyd Pack (Only Fools and Horses) as Hugo "Strange" Von Beck
Matt Smith (Doctor Who) as The Mad Hatter
Burt Kwouk (Pink Panther) as Asian Ras Al Ghul
what do you think of my ideas, please post in your ideas of your own Batman and its casting.

If DC gave BBC the rights (extremely unlikely), I could see it as a successful miniseries, where Batman travels to London to chase down one of his enemies to prevent some massacre there. Now, making a new world where Batman is FROM London...I don't like that idea as much. Gotham city, with it's sinister, dark character, is part of what made Batman who he is. He belongs there, just like Sherlock Holmes belongs in London. Now, Batman working WITH Sherlock on a case in London, now we're talking.

THIS JUST IN!! !!

The Batman exists, and he's American.

Ignoring that one, small problem, I have a single question...

Will Batman's nipples be on the inside or outside of his costume?

I would say a BBC show about a Batman like superhero would work but not Batman himself.

Interesting ideas, though i doubt the BBC would ever do this sort of take on the Batman universe, it would make for great TV viewing. Im just purely marking out for the day when the Long Halloween or Hush goes all live-action :D

thank you for your opinions, what about my casting and who would you cast if you made your own Batman series?
