A while ago I went on IMDB and I was horrified to see that Captain America: The Winter Soldier is one of the most critically acclaimed movies of all time. I saw that movie and I hated it. It didn't feel like a superhero movie. The whole movie felt gloomy and depressing and there was even some conspiracy crap thrown in.
After I watched that movie I thought to myself "I'm glad that's over." Now I know that it's not over. It won't be over for a long time. Suicide Squad is coming out soon and it looks like it will be totally dark and edgy.
Yeah ... I get it ... The Dark Knight was a good movie. Can we move on? I'm sick of emo superheroes.
A Modest Proposal: Someone should make a movie based on The Ripping Friends.
