Recommend a movie, post a picture or video clip, whatever you want.

I like Marlon Brando best from that list, followed by Clark Gable and Cary Grant.

Current actors? I have no clue because I don't really watch movies but I have to admit I love George Clooney as Dr. Doug Ross in ER. That's based on his personality and his devotion to kids as a paediatrician but yeah, he's pretty hot overall. I haven't watched him in anything else and I'm not one of those women who goes Goo-Goo for him, but he's good.

*Adds Julianna Margulies (Carol) to my list for women.

Who else? Um, David and Keith. Both of them.

A lot of women used to like Clark Gable in Gone with the Wind

Now, it seems that the movie may have been banned.

Something funny happened, I only know that man from Dexter and the other man I thought was the suspicious detective from Dexter so when they kissed I was like WHAA..?? Lol

Trying to see if a gay subplot had been introduced to Dexter at a late season.

It's not the same person.

He's hot because he doesn't put up with her BS.
She's the pathological sociopath in the book, not him.
She's just as aggressive, but also vindictive, selfish, and spiteful.

I don't understand banning it when it's such a common dynamic.
The characters both learn and grow.
It's a good example of impassioned love imo -- with all its faults.

I think some people don’t know how to read/watch it and use it to romanticize racism.

I don’t think the movie or book should be banned, though. I enjoy them both.

Wondering why they allow movies where men threaten and kill each other all the time, or movies like Silence of the Lambs where he keeps women in a pit and starves them so he can cut off their skin and wear it -- but we can't watch two strong personalities go head to head over jealousy, even though no one gets physically hurt or abused?

It’s because it depicts slavery in a positive way. Racism is still a huge problem.

Mammy was a great and strong character.
Hattie McDaniel was the first black woman to win an Academy Award for her role.
Now we want to cancel her performance and achievement?

It's historical fiction so I still don't understand.
I bet most of the people who want it banned haven't even read the book, or its message.

I once read that at the start of Gable's movie career, his studio arranged for all his teeth to be extracted and replaced with dentures.

Ummm the list is missing James Dean and Rock Hudson?
In the modern era the two guys who were underrated sexiest male actors were Shia LaBouf and Johnny Depp

The list was limited to 20 entries. James Dean and Rock Hudson clearly classify as "sexy."

I just watched Showboat last night.

She, Charles Winninger, and Paul Robeson really did a great job in the movie. Otherwise, I thought that the movie got to be long and boring.

Since the topic is sexy men, here is Paul Robeson in the movie

I didn't realise there were rules to this?

James Dean is an iconoclast for the sexy "bad boy". He was literally the template from which future Hollywood male bad boys followed. He also died young (24) so was forever frozen in time in people's memories.
