I'm a big fan of Grimm.

It's made locally, it's an awesome show, and I wish more shows would film in Portland.

I've been watching it, been back for 2 episodes now.
I think its a pretty cool take on it all.

Also watching falling skies and Warehouse 13 at the moment.

Do you ever see them filming? That would be soo Cool!

I wonder where Nick's mom is going. Any thoughts? I don't like the idea of the coins staying nearby. That prince/captain is bad news!

Not so sure that 'mom' is on the good side (yet); not so sure that Captain Renyard is on the bad side (yet).

I have been enjoying it. I am a huge Buffy the Vampire Slayer fan and Grimm has that same sort of feeling. A little more serious in nature but it has been a fun series.

I actually feel that the Captain is on the good side.

After reading these posts and thinking it over, I'm starting to wonder about "Mom" and Renyard. I'm wondering if the good/bad has been too obvious so far. But, do you think a hexenbeist or even a hexenbeist hybrid can be on the good side?

I don't see the hexenbeasts as evil - or, at least, not so much the older one. She's pragmatic and bigoted against humans, but that's not quite the same thing - not like the runners of the vessen fight club, for example, or the body-part-harvesters. I think that if she were in a situation where she could form an emotional connection with a human, she could theoretically switch sides (although her reaction when her own daughter lost her powers would argue against that - and, for that matter, Renyard's manipulation of the girl argues against him being a 'good guy').

I just recently started watching and I was wondering about that. I'm probably going to be moving to Portland soon, so I've been really interested in the exteriors. Where is that bridge by the trailer? It looks like someplace I've seen before.

^^
The suspension bridge is called the St. Johns Bridge, which is in my neighborhood,
and the bridge that has an arch is called the Fremont Bridge, which also is a two-deck bridge.

The producers inquired to my mother by email about using the mother-in-law unit next to her house, but by the time she got back to them they had found something else :(

@ Grey Girl: Grimm will likely film at night, so I may not be able to sneak some pics if it films close to my school.
