Although I didn't get pics of him and I at the signing last night. Both of us did connect with each other. I can see why alot of people liked Wil Wheaton because he connected with his fans whenever he has conventions. He signed my DVD copy of Stand By Me and asked him just a couple of questions. He had hilarious stories on the panel. I'll post up some YouTube vids of him at the 2011 Emerald City ComiCon later.

I hope I get to see him again in the near future.

Here are the vids of the ECCC 2011:

He was insightful and hilarious!

Wil Wheaton(Wesley Crusher) was the worst regular cast member ever on any Star Trek series.

I don't watch Star Trek (of any incarnation) that much. I only watched a few films, TNG, and the re-boot of Star Trek. I have to say is that Wil made me laugh with his hilarious and true stories about his proudness of being a geek. The reason why I came is because Stand By Me has always been one of my favorite films for many, many years. Therefore, I'm a much more of a fan of Star Wars than Star Trek.

Venger, you ought to read Wheaton's own critique of his performance, and of Wesley Crusher as a character. He did some columns for TVSquad (like this one, for the episode "Justice"), some of which are also linked from his blog site (http://wilwheaton.typepad.com/wwdnbackup/). However, as an adult, he's done some amazing acting work, and doesn't think that interacting with his fans is somehow "beneath" him (especially if you buy him a high-quality beer).

One funny aspect of his Star Trek character is how they try to make him out to be an exceptionally "handsome young man". Even though he's slightly below average in looks. :lmao:
