I love this show. The whole world blacks out (falls asleep) for 2 minutes and 17 seconds, and they all see their "future" for 2 minutes and 17 seconds on a specific day many months later. Many people see nothing, indicating that they will be dead by then.

Recently there has been the addition of Savants into the storyline. Savants can have super memory, or another ability past conceived human potential.

For those of you interested
# One in ten autistic people have savant skills.
# 50% of savants are autistic; the other 50% often have different disabilities, mental retardation, brain injuries, or brain diseases.

Anyone else watch?

I watched it off and on, and the show is a good concept, but they only used savants to record events. Its a shame the series wont be continuing seeing as how it ended with another blackout.

I watched it. What did you think of the s1 finale?

Has the second season actually been canceled? I'm not sure that a second blackout would be intended to end the series as that doesn't really resolve anything in the show.
