I know this is really old, but I had to post!

I've got an idea for a film told entire from first person (via a camera on the stars glasses frame) and will be about an aspie who longs to fit in and decides to hang out with a new NT crowd ditching his friends from the Special Eds Dept. who he has known forever. Things don't really turn out as planned.....I haven't figured what happens but the message of the film is tunign your back on part of yourself can hurt more then just you.

Both of my novels also features an aspie, the same one, the two stories are interlocking, compian books if you will in the same little town.

You might want to look at films like "Lady In The Lake" and "Dark Passage" as films that use the subjective point of view. To be honest, this is a hard technique to make work effectively.

I think a story about an Aspie is one of the few kinds of stories that this technique could be very effective in since the technique tends to alienate the audience and that's kind of the experience of an Aspie.

Good luck. I hope to see further postings about this project here.

Thnaks for the pointers jagtai. Sadly this project can't even get started just yet. I don't even have the camera, I could get one if I wanted there's is a spy shop in walking distance of my house, they sell small cameras I assume, teens aren't allowed to go there so I obviously haven't been there ;) But I plan to make my senior project, I'll give some updates then I think.
