Intro to Monk.

Sorry, this is the "extended" version, not the one on the tv show, but I thought I should share it, because Tony Shalhoub is brilliant, the show is fantastic, and the song just about sums up my life.

Also, I won't pick a version... but the intro to Doctor Who.

This show was on when I was in grade school and things weren't always the greatest for me in the big bad world. As corny as it may sound to some, I found it very encouraging, and sometimes still do.

Along the same lines, "Faith of the Heart" (theme song to STAR TREK: ENTERPRISE)

Hmm, let's see.

First and foremost is, obviously, Doctor Who (this video has all the television-featured themes, with the exception of that used for the Eleventh Doctor)...

...and then there's the opening to Blake's 7....

...and here's The Prisoner...

Although The Addams Family was much cooler, The Munsters had a much better theme song.

Also partial to The X-Files theme.

First ones that come to mind are:
Knight Rider
Dr Who
Mission Impossible
Rawhide
The Pink Panther
The A-Team

... And I've just remembered another one: Rainbow.
... I'm getting nostalgic now.

The Persuaders (With Roger Moore and Tony Curtis)
The Saint (With Roger Moore)
The Avengers (With Patrick Macnee) (The Laurie Johnson version is better than the Johnny Dankworth version)
The New Avengers (With Patrick Macnee)

Those shows also have really good songs in them too.
