Summary: Voyager is trapped in a quantum flux phase distortion, which reverses the ionic polarity of a positronic space-time singularity, affecting the electromagnetic frequencies of the neutrino energy field in the flux capacitors comprising the symbionic bioinformatic demultiplexor that supplies consecutive black body graviton radiation to the ship. Belanna Torres and Captain Janeway both have PhD's in quantum physics (as does every other crew member; Starfleet requirements, you know) and are able to come up with a solution to the problem.

Warning: The watching of this episode by anyone who actually does have a PhD in physics may cause internal hemorrhaging and sometimes permanent brain damage.

Anyone else who's curious, go see the episode for yourself (you can find it on YouTube). You'll wish you hadn't.

And the solution Janeway came up with is that "sometimes, you just have to PUNCH your way through!" :)
