Who hates that stupid new Twilight Volvo ad?

I don't think the stupid 12 year old girls who like Twilight can drive, so what's the point of this ad? It's bloody annoying.

I hate them using Twilight as a medium to sell things.
The characters don't even look like the ones Stephenie described.

I have been driving an old but precious volvo 240 estate for several years now.
Sad old lonely dreamer that I am, I find the Volvo ad mildly inspiring.
He'll do for me. . . .

I love Twilight; I guess you're going to make fun of me for it. But I don't really get the commercial either...

Wasn't that the same car that almost ran Bella over in the first movie? I'm not sure but it would be funny if it's true.

I wouldn't be caught dead in a Volvo prior to Twilight. Now I REALLY won't. As a sidenote though Volvo is consistently rated the safest automaker so not many people would be caught dead in one.

No, Mike almost ran Bella over in his truck. Edward was standing by his car, the silver volvo, across the school parking lot when Mike lost control and Edward used his vampire speed and strength to save Bella.


Unfortunately, my step-dad's car is exactly the same kind and color of Edward's. All of my NT friends are jealous. I asked him to sell it.

Stupid commercial. I'm a 40-something girl, not the least bit stupid, who likes Twilight and I wouldn't buy anything based on that commercial.
