New show on Syfy coming out, with an AS character:

I don't know about that. Could be decent, or incredibly cheesy.
I wouldn't mind that superpower though. Free internet and cell forever!
I think there was a character on Heroes that also did that.

David Strathairn has reportedly been lined up to appear in Syfy's new pilot Alphas.

The project, which is being directed by Lost's Jack Bender, focuses on a group of people with superior mental skills who work together to solve crimes.

Deadline reports that Strathairn is in talks to play the group's team leader.

His character is said to be eccentric and absent-minded but also good at manipulating people to get what he wants.

No no no.

There are two actors in the article: Actor David Strathairn will play someone with a sociopathic skill, whereas Ryan Cartwright (another actor) has allegedly signed up to play a member of the team with Asperger's syndrome with build in wifi.

Another show about crime solving... :roll: There is already a million of them! Why they don't get out with a space opera?

I only want that power if I can shut if off, too. It's bad enough walking down the street and hearing one end of so many cell-phone conversations...
