They're showing Avatar again in cinemas because they've added an extra 9 minutes on to the film. Apparently the extra 9 minutes contains, among other things, an actual love scene between Jake and Neytiri. Is anyone really interested in seeing the film again? I read reviews from critics that the new scenes don't really add much more to the movie than what was there before.

I didn't see it the first time around, so it's all going to be new to me.

^^Greetings Jono. I do believe that the additional footage would indeed be very fun. However, I do believe that I viewed the happy film approximately four times as of the moment, and thus, as the pixies within my mind know very much the layout of the film, I believe that the new scenes shall appear not very integrated within the film to these pixies.

Therefore, I believe that I may perhaps rent the extended edition at a later time, if this is released.

I've already seen it and it's pretty much the same great movie with extra footage, including a scene where Jake, Grace and Norm in their Avatar bodies enter Grace's old school and an extended death scene of the character Tsu'tey.

I wish they would do extended/added scenes for Alice in Wonderland. Now that's something I'd pay to see again (I saw it when it first came out in theaters, and I've seen it like 4 or 5 more times on DVD).

I'm waiting for the special edition DVD. I want those special feature documentaries James friggin' Cameron's been holding out on.

I think would be nice to see those documentaries as well. Although, since I've only seen Avatar on DVD so far, I don't know if it will be worthwhile for me see the special edition in cinemas now. I can't really experience 3D because I'm blind in one eye and you need both eyes for the depth perception.
