Sorry, I might be unclear and not thinkative since I'm pulling an all-nighter to re-correlate my schedule for college but during the course of the night, I saw Barton Fink through Netflix and I was wondering if he (Fink) may have had asperger's.

John Turturro, who plays Fink, was diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome and I'm not sure if that was what the Coen Brothers were trying to portray in Fink or if Turturro was just letting out a little bit of himself in the character.

Has anyone seen the film? Don't you think so? If not, what did you think of the film anyway?

I thought he just imagined the whole thing and got rejected for it and is unsure of where to go once he realizes he is already in.

He's where he's at but he's not exactly sure if he's comfortable or even content.

I just talked to my wife about Barton Fink, after reading your post, and we both came to the same conclusion that, yes, he probably is in fact an Aspie.
I didn't know that John Turturro has Asperger's. I don't know if that was the explicit reason why the Cohen brothers chose him for the role, but with the quirky and oddball stuff that he's done, having Asperger's certainly hasn't hurt.
